Skills Assessment Testing for Your Current Staff

Increase Your Support Staff Productivity with our interactive evaluation process

As law firms and corporations try to bring greater productivity to their workplace and, in turn, higher value to their clients, it has become paramount that the skills of those who support their businesses must be first rate. The need to identify which software skill proficiencies are most often necessary for various positions has led to the development of DayBreak Skill Assessment Testing. A comprehensive, proctored testing module co-authored by you, DayBreak Skill Assessment Testing is a great mechanism to determine your staffs’ current level of proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint & Excel.

Why is the idea of Skill Assessment Testing so important?
Although some firms may not be interested in the benefits of assessing their people on an ongoing basis, many more of DayBreak’s clients are looking for ways to enhance the service and work product for the attorneys and executives they support. In addition, it sends a clear signal to your employees that the firm is dedicated to helping its people identify ways to improve their performance, a great residual benefit for you.

Who at my firm will need to be involved and how does the process begin for us?
First, we would meet with you, your training manager, and others in the decision making pipeline (secretarial manager, WP Manager, HR coordinators, etc), to present DayBreak’s Proctored Tests to you, so that you may use them as a starting point for customization.

Who determines what is on our test(s) and where is it administered?
You do. Partnering together, you’ll be able to select, add or subtract “utilized functionality” for us to test your people on. We’ll then create a proctored test, at your direction, that is firm specific, to be administered at your office by our client services team, who will be on hand to observe and facilitate the test, while grading people as they go.

How is each persons’ test results communicated to me?
We then create an individualized assessment for each person taking the test, with a comprehensive overview of their skills and suggestions for additional training, if needed.

How can I be sure of the objectivity of the tests?
Since we do not offer training services, DayBreak maintains the objectivity you should be looking for in the assessments at all times. We have no stake in the outcome beyond assessing your people’s skill sets.

We are not a large organization. Can this Assessment Testing work for us?
Yes it can. Since you have input in creating the test and how results are utilized, the size of your firm does not dilute the effectiveness of the testing. You control the process.

It sounds like a very useful service. How do I find out more about it and the strategies to utilize DayBreak Skill Assessment Testing to my firms’ benefit?
Allow us to meet with you briefly to discuss the program, your goals for it, and the execution of the testing modules to achieve your desired goals. We look forward to collaborative discussion that addresses all your questions, so you have complete confidence in moving your people through the process.
