Quality, Service, Communication and Respect are the hallmarks of any great organization. When I started the company in 2000, my vision was to create and cultivate a boutique staffing firm whose name was synonymous with those traits. Today, I can proudly say that DayBreak Staffing uses these characteristics as the foundation of every aspect of our business. Clients and applicants alike are given the special attention they deserve, by everyone in our organization, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In an increasingly competitive marketplace, we have sought out ways to differentiate ourselves from other staffing firms and offer our clients the highest caliber support staff available in New York. One way we have accomplished this is through the creation of the DayBreak Preferred Applicant Team Program, designed to create a talented pool of applicants who are pre-approved by our clients and familiarized with their operations in advance of their utilization. The result is a group of temporaries, or temp-to-hire candidates, who are going to be productive from the moment they are placed on assignment. Our unique Proctored Testing System is another technique we utilize to carefully hand-pick only the most highly skilled people available for referral and placement with our clients Additionally, candidates for direct hire, (permanent placement), are prioritized in a manner whereby only the most qualified individuals are referred to our clients for consideration. Lastly, my daily involvement as a placement counselor shows our clients, applicants and the DayBreak Team that my commitment to doing the best job possible starts at the top and, therefore, ultimately runs through the organization with the ideals of quality and service driving us.
Over the course of my career, applicants have provided me with feedback on their likes and dislikes of working with staffing firms. Mindful of how difficult the job search process can be, I wanted to incorporate a way to alleviate some of the applicants’ frustration and make not only registration a positive segment of the process but the recruiting, testing, interviewing, and, ultimately, their placement a positive as well. Therefore, we have streamlined our registration process knowing that an applicant’s time is as valuable as their experience and skill set. As mentioned earlier, we have developed the DayBreak Preferred Applicant Team Program, whereby applicants, at their leisure and preferred timing, can register and target their search based on their preferences regarding location, position, industry and job description. Upon review of their profile, one of our top-notch counselors will contact the applicant, discuss the profile and set up a time to meet. We may not find a job for everyone but while The DayBreak Team tries, in earnest, to fulfill each applicant’s ultimate goal of a well paying, challenging job, in a firm that appreciates their efforts, DayBreak’s applicants are, and always will be, treated with courtesy and respect.
As we all know, it takes time and effort to become a reputable staffing firm, however, the journey never ends. As we push and strive every day to become better than the day before, we will continue to embrace the ideals outlined at the beginning of this letter….. quality, service, communication and respect.
