Nassau County based Personal Injury Law firm, is seeking a paralegal with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing case files in construction accidents and other plaintiff cases. The firm located in Garden City provides a great opportunity to work with a pair of attorneys known for embracing client circumstances personally and collaborating well with their team internally to create favorable outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and oral communication ability. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and discovery responses; Interviewing and assessing client case completeness and injured party status; coordinate documentation of case files, expert witnesses, medical examinations and court ordered responses for documents. Multilingual abilities in Spanish and Bengali are preferred but not required.

This key position requires excellent organizational and time management skills. It also requires the ability to manage several cases at various points in ongoing litigations. Strong computer skills (MS Office, WordPerfect and other docketing and case management software) are required. Compensation consists of a salary in the range of $70K – $80K+ plus bonus and is accompanied by a generous benefits package.
