National September 11th Memorial Run/Walk

What a fantastic morning we had walking in the 9/11 Memorial & Museum Run/Walk on April 22nd! We were so fortunate to be a Community Sponsor of the event and to be surrounded by amazing New Yorker’s. What is so great about this event, 100% of all money raised goes directly to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum to sustain the beautiful memorial & reflection that has been set up. NYC Marathon 2017

We Did It Again!!

Thank you so much to all of you who have encouraged me and donated to the charities The DayBreak Community was honored to represent this year with my NYC Marathon run! Because of all of you, so far we have raised over $8,000 for New York Cares and The Cristo Rey NY High School. If you have not done so already, it’s not too late to donate as we are going to leave the links to each charity “live”. TO ALL…. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! ~Jon

New York Cares was founded by a group of friends who wanted to take action against serious social issues that faced our city in the late 1980s. Finding few options to help, they created their own organization to address the problems from the ground up. New York Cares is now the city’s largest volunteer management organization, running volunteer programs for 1,300 nonprofits, city agencies, and public schools. Today’s volunteers share our founders’ vision that we all have a role to play in making our city a better place. DONATE HERE!

Cristo Rey New York High School is a Catholic, co-ed, college-prep school, part of the national Cristo Rey Network. We serve students of all faiths who have demonstrated the potential and motivation to achieve success and who do not have the educational background or financial means to attend another private, college-prep school. Guided by the spirit of care for the individual, cura personalis, we challenge all our students with a rigorous academic curriculum and a demanding work-internship program. Our ultimate goal is that our students will graduate from college and become professionals for others, transforming the world for the good of their families and society. DONATE HERE!
