Our client, an international law firm with 900 attorneys, is seeking an HRIS and Compensation Director to oversee the firm’s HRIS function. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years’ relevant experience in a Big Law firm, working closely with stakeholders including the HR, Benefits, Payroll, IT, and Legal Personnel teams.
This role will manage the firm’s HRIS processes across all offices and populations, including day-to-day operations, system upgrades and implementations and other projects. The HRIS Director will ensure that all HRIS modules are up to date, designed to optimize the firm’s business needs, configured to be user-friendly for employees, and maintained in accordance with industry best practices. This Director will recommend process improvements in line with best practices and oversee upgrades and implementation projects with a focus on improving efficiencies and consistency in the firm’s performance management processes.
This position will manage the firm’s suite of HRIS solutions, including ADP Enterprise, Time and Attendance, the ADP Portal, Oracle modules and Taleo and will manage relationships with the relevant vendors, including Acuity and Arclight. Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software. Advanced Excel skills with macros and pivot tables is necessary and strong knowledge of HRIS Systems such as ADP, Oracle HCM or similar systems.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of HRIS implementation and administration are required. Additional Compensation model and analysis experience , a plus. Bachelor’s degree required. An advanced degree in analysis or another relevant field is preferred. Compensation includes a salary of $225K-$250K+ accompanied by a robust benefits package. Strong focus on maintaining data integrity through diligence and accuracy, prioritizing and meeting deadlines is required.
