Getting Employees to Reach Their Full Potential

This week on The DayBreak Blog, we’re sharing some news from the Staffing Industry.

Michael Horvath, CEO of Strava, a San Francisco based app for athletes, has had to shift his leadership style as his company grew beyond his dreams. Micromanaging and being overly involved in every decision fell by the wayside, as he leaned into relying on his team more and more. He now believes in giving talented employees more opportunity to voice their ideas.

Mr. Horvath believes getting people talking is the key, and allowing employees to drive or initiate meetings and new discussions helps to facilitate growth in talented individuals. We all have untapped potential, and unfortunately it isn’t always recognized. Changing leadership styles could be the way to unlock some of that potential in your employees.
